Our Story

I started BMore Vintage in 2013 as Sheila'Z Finds. As a child, I loved visiting antique stores with my mother and dusty old hardware stores with my father. My appreciation for antiques extends beyond the lovely antiques of my mother's home to the work involved in fixing things in my father's workshop. For years I collected antiques and sold the excess items at my yearly yard sale until I reached a point where I couldn't store everything for a year. I always wanted to open a shop, but needed something flexible enough to manage alongside my career teaching high school English. A mobile boutique seemed like the ideal solution, so I scoured the internet searching for a vehicle to convert. Eventually I found a small mobility bus, which we outfitted with lovely wood floors and I began vending at the Baltimore Farmers’ Market in downtown Baltimore.

With a shop to stock I added auctions to my routine and started to travel to other states to source items. Additionally, people began inviting me to shop in their homes. As the inventory increased over the years it became evident we needed a bigger truck! After searching again we found a vintage tool truck. Remodeling this bigger truck took more time, and my brother and father pitched in to assist my husband, Dino, and me. Our "new" remodeled boutique rolled out in 2015.

Our collection is anything that catches my eye! I don’t focus on one particular item or maker. If I’m known for anything it’s my love of shades of turquoise, teal, and aqua. In addition to the vintage items I enjoy redesigning pieces, and my husband, Dino, contributes to this by creating lovely live edge table tops and refinishing vintage patio furniture in shades of turquoise.

We live in Northeast Baltimore with our rescue dog, Annie, and some chickens. You can find us parked under the JFX most Sundays from April to December, ready to showcase our fun collection. Make sure to follow us on social media to keep track of our treasures, news, updates, and more!
